Surrounded by the fresh fruit and berry orchards in the Lachlan Valley (Forbes) New South Wales, Pat was inspired by the freshness and began her preserve making career.
When Pat’s children were young, they were diagnosed with food allergies so cooking from fresh with no preservatives, gluten or additional additives added and products which were low in salt and sodium and Pat’s dedication to her children, they began to thrive.
Word soon got around the town of Forbes regarding the goodness of Pat’s traditional preserves that she expanded her range to also include pickles, relishes and gourmet salad dressings. (All of which were and still are gluten, preservative and additive free and low in sugar and sodium too.)
Pat moved from Forbes to Forster New South Wales for a change of scenery. However; her love of cooking with quality farm fresh fruit, vegetables and berries never dimmed.
Over the years Pat has won many awards for her hard work including picking up Silver, Bronze and Highly Commended awards from the prestigious Sydney Royal Easter Show.
